Gamification and Narrative Practices in Modern Education

This article devoted to phenomena of gamification as a teaching method and educational technology. The discusses the situation education in XXI century its main trends related development digital economy global challenges our time: competence-based approach, active learning, game technologies education. advantages connection with issue competence are considered. author turns history discover drawback this method, due fact that principle: involvement process, does not justify itself long run. As solution, proposes narrative way complement deepen gamification, use which process on one hand helps pass point «fatigue» from game, other hand, stimulates internal motivations for learning.
